Romania’s industrial sector is set for continued rapid growth in the coming years, with a great deal of it due to the average consumer’s growing appetite to spend on retail goods. Online and on-site retailers saw huge growth last year and logistics providers are clamoring for space to keep up with the growth. At the same time, western manufacturers are stepping up their efforts to source labor and locations in Romania as both are becoming ever-scarcer resources throughout CEE. How long can this boom continue, and will industrial developers seize the moment to enter the market before opportunities begin to dry up?
Five CED-Logic forums in Belgrade, Budapest, Bucharest, Prague and Warsaw, will be held during September 2017 to February 2018, with a focus on each countries local logistics market, with a broad cross-section of influential local and international experts, as well as key figures from corporate end users, property developers, investors and city officials. Each forum will focus on the healthy growth of the sector and how best to overcome the current barriers. Special focus will be paid on setting priorities for transport infrastructure, the future of the industry in design and concept.
