Summary

CED-LOGIC Budapest, Hungary – 31st January 2018

Hungary’s industrial sector was quiet in the years following the financial crisis as owners of logistics parks worked behind the scenes to fill empty sheds. But demand has largely caught up with supply now, sparking interest from new investors keen to make their mark on the country and smaller players hoping to cash in. In addition to the enormous consumer market in Budapest, around which the vast majority of supply is centered, northwest Hungary has grown into an important manufacturing and assembly hub. It all means that new development is likely to continue to make up for lost time at the beginning of the decade.

Five CED-Logic forums in Belgrade, Budapest, Bucharest, Prague and Warsaw, will be held during September 2017 to February 2018, with a focus on each countries local logistics market, with a broad cross-section of influential local and international experts, as well as key figures from corporate end users, property developers, investors and city officials. Each forum will focus on the healthy growth of the sector and how best to overcome the current barriers. Special focus will be paid on setting priorities for transport infrastructure, the future of the industry in design and concept.
